Pro4R pipes are designed to give the rider the Holeshot advantage. Only the finest materials like 304 stainless steel, 6061 T6 aluminum and stainless steel core and hardware are used. All Pro4R pipes are welded and assembled in LRD s Wilsonville, Oregon factory to ensure the best quality money can buy. Pro4R pipes are designed to have a deep, throaty exhaust note without being harsh. This pleasing sound is the result of our hi-flow stainless core which is optimized for the best performance to sound level combination. BALLISTEC™: BALLISTEC™ is a High Temperature coating designed for protection of metals components against high temperature heat oxidation while providing thermal insulation. BALLISTEC™ maintains excellent adhesion even after repeated high temperature cycles. As higher temperatures are reached, BALLISTEC™ compounds flux, becoming harder and more abrasion resistant. BALLISTEC™ Armor Coating has shown excellent performance in temperatures from 1200°F to 1800°F with no change in color. CARBON FIBER: To offer discriminating riders the lightest, toughest Pro4R possible, LRD engineers looked to the aerospace industry to find cutting edge carbon fiber tube building technology. LRD s filament wound carbon fiber muffler can is created by CNC winding pure carbon fiber filament around a tubular mandrel producing the highest quality seamless carbon fiber tube available. The tubes are then impregnated with a high temperature resin resulting in an extremely strong and light weight structure offering a true 500 degree temperature rating.
