BALLISTEC™: BALLISTEC™ is a High Temperature coating designed for protection of metals components against high temperature heat oxidation while providing thermal insulation. BALLISTEC™ maintains excellent adhesion even after repeated high temperature cycles. As higher temperatures are reached, BALLISTEC™ compounds flux, becoming harder and more abrasion resistant. BALLISTEC™ Armor Coating has shown excellent performance in temperatures from 1200°F to 1800°F with no change in color. CARBON FIBER: To offer discriminating riders the lightest, toughest Pro4R possible, LRD engineers looked to the aerospace industry to find cutting edge carbon fiber tube building technology. LRD s filament wound carbon fiber muffler can is created by CNC winding pure carbon fiber filament around a tubular mandrel producing the highest quality seamless carbon fiber tube available. The tubes are then impregnated with a high temperature resin resulting in an extremely strong and light weight structure offering a true 500 degree temperature rating.
