An exclusive line of supreme quality pistons with teflon/moly coated skirts and hard anodized / machined domes. Piston kits come complete with piston, rings, pin and circlips. MACHINED SMOOTH HEADS: A machined smooth piston crown should reflect combustion heat while reducing carbon build-up and protecting the top of the piston. Some tests have shown that a machined smooth head can increase HP and fuel economy by up to 6%. MOS2 (TEFLON-MOLYBDENUM COATING): MOS2 is composed of sub-micron sized particles of solid lubricant and resin blends of solvents. Our coating is rolled on, so it provides 10 times the bond strength of spray on coating. This draws heat through the piston walls and out the bottom, reduces heat and friction, for added power and longevity and helps eliminate cold seizures, and increases durability. HARD ANODIZED CROWNS: Pistons that are not anodized have a hardness of HRB 60, and pistons that are anodized have a hardness of HRB 105. This makes our pistons 75% stronger than non-anodized pistons. This increases heat resistance, minimizes piston expansion and contraction, and reduces the coefficient of friction. HYPEREUTECTIC CAST: A hypereutectic cast piston, is a piston with increased silicon content. The end result is a piston that has an increased hardness, is more resistant to wear, and has an increased ability to withstand higher cylinder temperatures, pressure, and detonation. This helps reduce expansion from heat, makes the piston more durable and resistant to wear, and allows the piston to run tighter clearances.
