Two Brothers Racing has produced a V.A.L.E. slip on exhaust system for 2008 Hayabusa that not only adds HP and torque but saves a significant amount of weight. The dual 2.25 Spiral Core M-2 Canisters give the Busa that deep throaty sound it deserves. The only complaints about the 2008 B-King unique machine are the heavy and less than elegant exhaust and rear fender. Two Brothers Racing had their work cut out for them but as always, up for the challenge. Enter the all new Dual V.A.L.E. slip on exhaust and fender eliminator kit. The kit comes complete with a stainless steel 1 into 2 merge collector collector, dual M-2 Canisters, and a complete fender eliminator kit all in 1 box! The sound and weight savings are amazing, and so is the added HP and torque. POLISHED ALUMINUM: Aluminum is a lightweight and strong material used extensively in the aerospace, automotive, and of course, motorcycle industry. Aluminum is a wise choice due to its excellent strength to weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and clean look. We use lightweight thin-wall .060 extruded 6061 aluminum alloy that is heat treated to a T-6 condition for increased strength, durability, hardness, and finish hold. After the aluminum has been heat treated, it is cut to length and given a mirror polished finish. Ounce for ounce, aluminum is the best value of all the M series mufflers. As a rule, the aluminum mufflers weigh about 8.3oz. more than Titanium or Carbon Fiber mufflers. CARBON FIBER: Two Brothers has been using Carbon Fiber in motorcycle mufflers since 1992. They are currently the only US Company to exclusively use Filament Wound Carbon Fiber (FWCF) on every carbon fiber muffler they sell. They draw on only the best high temperature resins, and control a proprietary lining system adopted from spacecraft, for additional heat resistance. The FWCF is continuously wound over a precision machined mandrel for a 100% seamless bond. The FWCF tube is then cured in a high temperature autoclave oven for superior strength and heat resistance. These crucial elements meld to form a precision lightweight muffler that will perform as well as it looks. V.A.L.E.™ ATTACHMENT SYSTEM: The V.A.L.E.™ system is the revolutionary and patent-pending method of attaching the muffler canisters to the exhaust tube without the use of springs or welding. The V.A.L.E. system allows the muffler assembly - exhaust tube and canister - to be positioned perfectly on the bike before all the mounting hardware is fully tightened. Once the canister and exhaust tubes are properly aligned, the V.A.L.E. assembly locks the muffler canister to the exhaust tube assuring a perfect, leak free fit. FULL SYSTEMS: These systems completely replace the existing OEM exhaust system. This not only adds horsepower but also can drop significant weight from the bike.
